BJJ places great importance on the collective effort of training partners, relying on a network effect, and fostering trust is paramount. With any martial art, especially as it is taken more seriously towards competition level, there is always a chance of injury. We are confident to say that, even with the amount of bodily contact in bjj, on our training mats, there is minimal risk of injury.

A sore knee, elbow, or finger is known in jiu jitsu but at the hobbyist level there is rarely any risk of serious injury. We vigilantly protect our members from outsiders practitioners whom we do not know of their rolling style.
